Bravecto chewable tablets provide dogs with up to 12 weeks of continuous protection against fleas and ticks. The active ingredient, fluralaner, works systemically. Because it is ingested, swimming or bathing will not reduce its efficacy. Always consult your veterinarian to determine the correct dosage for your dog's weight.
How It Works & Protection
* Duration: A single chew provides 12 weeks of defense against fleas and multiple tick species (including paralysis, black-legged, and brown dog ticks).
* Speed: It kills existing fleas within 8 hours and existing paralysis ticks within 24 hours.
* Puppies: Safe for puppies 6 months of age or older, and weighing over 4.4 lbs (2 kg). Note: Puppies under 6 months typically require a monthly formula.
Administration
* It is highly recommended to give the chew to your dog at or around the time of feeding to ensure maximum absorption.
* Do not split or break the chew; ensure your dog consumes the whole tablet to receive the correct dose.
Safety & Side Effects
* Bravecto has been evaluated and deemed generally safe, even for breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs.
* The most commonly reported side effects include vomiting, decreased appetite (anorexia), diarrhea, lethargy, and itching (pruritus).
